The European Irrigation Association invites you to an education program (2 days) and a day of conférences & expo  to be held in Aix en Provence- France - in English & French languages -   on 13- 15 March 2012 (on the site of the CEMAGREF/ LERMI and at the Congress center of Aix-en-Provence).

The program will cover both Ag. and Turf irrigation . It is open to everybody having an interest to progress in design, installation, use of a modern & quality irrigation system.  Ideal for irrigation contractors, staff of dealers, distributors, students...

The attendance is expected to be from everywhere in Europe. Basic understanding of  either the english or French language is necessary.

YOU CAN SELECT YOUR CLASS CATEGORY: AG (ECAIP= European Certified Ag Irrigation Planner)  or  TURF(ECLIA = European Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor)

 PRICES ARE:  400€ for AG/person   and 400€ for Turf  /person  - with a discount of 10% for  staff  of EIA members.  These fees include: participation at the conferences on march 15 + to the EIA Dinner on March 13th evening.

“AGRICULTURE IRRIGATION PLANNING”, 2 days training on March 13 & March 14 +  the day of conferences and trade show on March 15 + the  EIA Diner on March 13 . Fees: 400€

covers: Agro facts & numbers, Basic hydraulics, crops-climate-soil types-field capacity-root zone-precipitation-uniformity, types of systems and water emitters (Surface, drip, travelers, wheel-lines, center pivots, linear move, solid state…), Economy of a system (investment, maintenance, energy..),System selection, basic audit and maintenance.  Final exam -Quiz type-

“LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION AUDIT”, 2 days training on March 13 & March 14 +  the day of conferences and trade show on March 15 + the  EIA  Diner on March 13 . Fees: 400€

covers: Irrigation site inspection, system turn-up, catch-device set-up, calculation of water schedule, irrigation management principles, site/system selection, Auditing method, scheduling/ programming, data needed, use of data, formulas, tables and charts. Final exam -Quiz type -
